MARIA FORDE STUDENT REFLECTION DAYS
For the past 16 years I have worked with school groups around Australia. Student reflection days are available to primary
students preparing for the sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation whilst secondary students are invited to share a day of reflection
Themes may be tailored towards the specific school year level and age group.
Activities offered include:
Ice breaking games
Team building games
Group activities and discussions
Indoor and outdoor tasks
Art and craft activities
School creed activities
As a Catholic teacher of Secondary Education I look forward to creating a program that will inform, engage and entertain your
students. There are also opportunities for prayer and reflection and as a successful musician I bring the gift of live music to the retreat experience.

'From the first strum of her guitar Maria has our Year 12 young women in the palm of her hand – and there they stay for the
next 6 hours!
The Twilight Reflection that Maria facilitates is a delightful experience. It is a mix of prayer, story, remembering,
reflecting, writing, drawing, playing, singing, healing – all done in an atmosphere of great trust and respect.'It is a sacred time that our Year 12 young women treasure.

"Thank you Maria for the sensitive way you related to the gifted children in our enrichment program. These children have an
emotional sensitivity and intensity that can often be isolating and you responded to them in a way that made them feel safe to express themselves. Your willingness and ability to modify the program
in response to the children was lovely to watch. They left with new friends and smiles on their faces. You made the day very special for everyone involved."

'Your presentation was everything we could have wanted: entertaining, uplifting and quite inspiring.' Bernard, Sacred Heart,
'Thank you for helping our children see a little more of themselves and for the gift of music you have shared' Mary
